To support human rights groups all over the world.
Why? Every citizen has the right to a human rights group in their country. It is these local groups that make a great difference with the help of the Declaration. The Declaration can be the basis on which indigenous human rights activists and organizations raise human rights issues and organize campaigns in their own countries.
As a truly international effort, the human rights movement of the next century can do more than advocate against the abusers of human rights—it can advocate FOR the oppressed individuals and communities and the vision and aspirations they have for their own future. The Declaration gives people the power to demand their own rights and the power to make them real. It is here where real change can happen.
How? There are two main ways that growing human rights groups can be supported. One way is through a printed Declaration in their own language. This document can be used as a form of support for their actions.
Another way to help these developing human rights groups is through donations. Many of them have little or no money, and they desperately need our support. Citizens of the world should demand that their country provide them with the Declaration.
